We are thrilled to add two more locally based artists to our Sunday pop up exhibition line up: Par Avion are makers of beautifully crafted furniture using environmentally conscious materials and Alastair Hunter Gray works with photography and collage to create bold layered images. Both artists will be located in the Main Hall from 10am - 5pm on Sunday.
Stephanie is the first in our line-up of artists and makers who will be included in our pop up exhibition in the house on Sunday 12th June. She will be presenting 'The British Raj' which is a set of new paintings based on historic photographs from the Palace's collection of portraits of British political agents and of rulers of the Princely State of Udaipur.
Only nine days to go until our Summer Fair! The house will be packed with rare and out of print books on Saturday and the Style 1900 tent will be home to some of the country's finest turn of the century antiques dealers across the weekend.
With the fabulous Alex Chef, Hot Rocket Pizza and Dann's Farm Ice Cream there will be no danger of anyone going hungry and our lovely friends at East Coast Bars will be serving Pimms and other drinks in the gardens on both days of the fair.
We have exciting plans coming together for the house on Sunday with some of our favourite local artists and makers taking the opportunity to display their work in the beautiful setting of our ground floor rooms. We will be announcing an arty line up very soon so watch this space and don't forget to keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter feeds for all the news as it happens. See you all on the 11th...
